AMBULANCE DONATION TO PRAYAS

AGF donated an ambulance to Prayas Juveline Aid Centre (JAC) Society, Kirti Nagar with the believe that this will be of great support & help to the cause of the underprivileged, marginalized & destitute children, women and community people. This ambulance will be used for transporting patients such as scheduled visit to a health care centre, transporting women for delivery to a hospital or after delivery and discharge to her home. Also the ambulance will be used for conducting camps and other health related activities by Prayas.

ASSISTANCE TO AASTHA

Inspite of its limited resources, the foundation has been providing patronage to AASTHA, an NGO which provides education and rehabilitation to differently abled children. AGF also offers appropriate employment to the differently abled from AASTHA from time to time.

COLLABORATIVE INITIATIVES

AGF initiatives for Sports and Cultural events is called “Urja” meaning – Energy. Therefore members work with various  NGOs who engage with children from less privilege environment such as Bal Sahyog, Village Cottage Home, Ummeed Aman Ghar etc. and enable them to focus on their talents, enhance them and show case them. Sport plays a positive role in youth development. AGF organise sporting events to unlease the hidden talent and provide opportunities.

SUPPORT TO GOONJ AN NGO FOR VICTIMS OF NATURAL CALAMITIES

AGF collects and donates clothes, food items, medicines, monetary aid, etc. on a quarterly basis. These donations are forwarded to GOONJ, an NGO working extensively for rehabilitation of the victims of natural calamities such as floods, earthquakes and other such disasters.

We also initiate a “Newspaper Donation” campaign, whereby we collect old newspapers and the proceeds from the sale of these newspapers are donated to GOONJ as monetary aid.

HONOURING WOMEN IN RECOGNITION OF THEIR DEDICATED CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS SOCIAL CAUSES

The Foundation is committed towards upliftment and emancipation of women and has been continuously working towards encouragement of those women who have valiantly braved all odds in their personal lives. The Foundation applauds and showcases these courageous spirit to have a fulfilling spirit and independent existence. At various forums, AGF recognizes such women who become symbols of inspiration to other woman.

AGF is planning initiatives to empower under-privileged women by providing various sessions of vocational training so that they become self-sufficient and also support their family.

CRICKET TOURNAMENT

Amit Gupta Foundation sponsors AMIT GUPTA MEMORIAL (U16) CRICKET TOURNAMENT in the memory of Shri Amit Gupta who had a great passion for cricket. He always encouraged young cricket enthusiasts to play the game.He believed that cricket was a great game of the mind and body as it helped to develop the softer skills while teaching young people team work and team spirit, thus developing social skills that are so very important in life
